The IBM Daeja ViewONE Entitlement tool enables you to add and remove entitlements for IBM Daeja ViewONE Professional or IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual that is integrated within other IBM products. For example, the tool can be used to add the redaction entitlement for the IBM Daeja ViewONE Permanent Redaction Module. You can use this module to permanently redact documents by using IBM Daeja ViewONE Professional that is integrated within IBM Content Navigator. This version of the tool is supported for IBM Daeja ViewONE Professional and IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual, version 4.1 and later. If you are enabling the IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual Permanent Redaction Module for the viewer within IBM Content Navigator, ensure that it is IBM Content Navigator V2.0.3 FP4 or later and the embedded IBM Daeja ViewONE viewer is version 4.1.5 or later.
You must have a license to download this software.
Adding entitlements You can use the tool to add entitlements to a configuration file by using the argument entitlement and setting either a single entitlement or a comma-separated list of entitlements. To add entitlements, run the following command:
java -jar daeja_viewone_entitlement.jar <in=inConfigFile> [out=outConfigFile] <entitlement=office,redaction,...>
Removing entitlements You can use the tool remove entitlements from a configuration file by using the argument removeentitlement and setting either a single entitlement or a comma separated list of entitlements. To remove entitlements, run the following command:
java -jar daeja_viewone_entitlement.jar <in=inConfigFile> [out=outConfigFile] <removeentitlement=office,redaction,...>
Using a properties file An alternative to using the entitlement or removeentitlement arguments, you can use a properties file to specify the entitlements to add or remove. The properties file contains a list of key-value pairs for each entitlement. Setting the entitlement to true tells the tool to add it to the configuration file. Setting the entitlement to false tells the tool to remove it. For example, a properties file called entitlements.properties might contain:
office=true
redaction=false
java -jar daeja_viewone_entitlement.jar <in=inConfigFile> [out=outConfigFile] <modules=propertiesFile>
Adding entitlements to an embedded viewer To use the tool to update an embedded version of the IBM Daeja ViewONE viewer, see Adding entitlements to an integrated version of IBM Daeja ViewONE, V4.1 or later
